How Can I Pay My Bill? Please review the following options to determine what is best for you. By Mail Payment must be postmarked on or before the cancelation date to avoid disruption of coverage. Mail payments to: PIEDMONT MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY P.O. Box 507 Statesville, NC 28687. In Person You can drop off your payment at your local agent’s office or in our Statesville North Carolina office. Online If you would like to pay online, we accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express credit or debit cards and electronic checks. Enter your Policy Number, Zip Code and Last or Business name. Make sure there is one space between the letter portion and the number portion of your policy number. ex: (HO 121212). The billing system will provide you with the balance due on your policy. Please make sure you enter your email address so we can send you a receipt once the transaction is complete. If your policy is not currently active, you will not be able to process a payment online. Please contact your agent to make arrangements to reinstate or provide coverage. Partial Payments Once you enter your payment method you can either pay the amount shown, which reflects the total balance due, or delete that amount and enter a lower amount. IMPORTANT: If you decide to make a partial payment, there will be a $5.00 installment fee. The installment amounts shown on your bill include the $5.00 fee. If you wish to pay an amount other than the amount on your bill, please add the additional $5.00 to your payment amount. If you do not add the $5.00 fee, the $5.00 fee will be subtracted from the payment amount you have entered first and the remainder of the payment will be applied to your policy premium. Return / Refund Policy Piedmont will re-bill any remaining balance still due upon applying a partial payment Piedmont will refund, via check, any overpayment to the annual premium 10 days from payment posting Piedmont will issue refunds directly to the named insured(s) on the policy the payment was applied.
